How to Check NIN with USSD

To check your NIN on any SIM card (MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile) on your phone, follow these steps:

  1. Dial *346# on your phone.
  2. From the options displayed, select “NIN Retrieval” by entering ‘1’ (only if you are using the same phone number you enrolled with for your NIN).
  3. Follow the steps displayed on your screen and provide the required inputs.
  4. Your NIN will be displayed.

Please note that using this service incurs a fee of N20, which will be deducted from your phone credit balance. It is advisable to screenshot the code or write it down for future reference.

How to Validate NIN
