About The Mitacs Elevate Postdoctoral Fellowship Award

The Mitacs Elevate Postdoctoral Fellowship Award is a postdoctoral fellowship that focuses on professional development curriculum element. Fellows tackle difficult problems by:

  • A two-year research project with a partner organization in need of high-level expertise
  • A professional development curriculum that prepares Elevate fellows for success as leaders in research and industry

The cohort-based program structure allows for peer learning and cross-disciplinary networking possibilities for fellows that they might not otherwise have in their professional lives.
