Baze University Admission Requirements/Eligibility

To be considered for admission, candidates;

  • Must obtain a minimum of five credit passes in subjects from the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB examinations. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, and other relevant subjects related to the intended course of study.
  • Must take the current year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) administered by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and achieve the required cut-off marks to be eligible for admission to Baze University.
  • Should ensure that their selected UTME subjects align with the requirements of the Baze University program they wish to enroll in.

Note

  • Candidates are allowed to use a maximum of two WAEC sittings during their UTME registration. This rule is also enforced by the institution during the screening exercise.
  • If candidates did not initially choose Baze University as their first choice of institution during the 2023 JAMB UTME registration but now wish to enroll at Baze University, they are required to change their first choice of institution to Baze University at any JAMB Office or authorized Cyber Café.
  • In addition, Baze University conducts a Post-UTME Screening Exercise for all prospective students. Applicants who fail to meet the screening criteria may not be admitted.
