The Royal Holloway University Scholarship
Are you looking to gain a scholarship to study in the U.K? If yes, then the Royal Holloway University is offering students from and residing in the UK a three-year tuition fee reduction in full.
Do you put in additional effort and strive for success in all you do? You can be selected as a Royal Holloway Rising Stars student. New undergraduates who exhibit the following qualifications are eligible for three scholarships:
- Academic excellence
- Commitment to one or more of Royal Holloway values (see application guidelines below)
- Determination to succeed.
The Royal Holloway University
A constituent institution of the federal University of London, Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL) was formally established as Royal Holloway and Bedford New College. There are around 10,500 undergraduate and graduate students from more than 100 different nations throughout its six schools and 21 academic divisions.
Scholarship Benefit
The Rising Stars Scholarship is offering successful applicants a full tuition fee reduction for three years.
Eligibility
- Applicants should have a home fee status.
- Applicants must have a strong academic record with high predicted A-level (or equivalent) grades, including those with contextual offers (As a guide, previous applicants have been predicted AAA or equivalent).
- Applicants must hold a current conditional or unconditional offer to study any undergraduate degree at Royal Holloway.
- Applicants must have excellent proficiency in the English language

How to Apply
To apply, eligible applicants must submit an online application via https://admissions.royalholloway.ac.uk/#/login
Application Guideline
Interested applicants are to provide a supporting statement of no more than 400 words. You must include the following;
- How you have made a difference through your achievements, demonstrating outstanding skills relevant to one or more of Royal Holloway’s values.
- Excellence
- Fairness
- Freedom
- Creativity
- Collaboration
- Inclusivity
- Academic achievements you are particularly proud of
- Why you selected your chosen degree, your future aspirations and how the scholarships will help you to achieve your goals.
- You are encouraged to include examples in your application. This can include a wide range of activities, for example, but not limited to:
- Entrepreneurship
- Managing a project or group activity
- Membership of a group striving for positive change
- Holding a position of trust in a group outside school or college
- Extra-curricular activities such as sports or religious groups, the Duke of Edinburgh Award or NCS (National Citizens Service) The Challenge.
- Your application will be scored based on how effectively your statement answers the above.

Do note however that applications which exceed the word count will automatically be rejected.
